Today I got a letter confirming Laila’s diagnosis of dyspraxia. The letter also stated that they would like to test Laila for ‘fragile x’ . I have honestly never heard of this and I am trying so hard not to Google this and worry myself more. Should I wait and see if it’s something to be concerned about or to prepare myself?! I just don’t know!
I also joined a dyspraxia support group, they have spoken alot about routine and organisation labels and tags, colour coding ect. I am not really sure where to start so If you guys have any tips on how to get into better habits please share with me! Kx

I don’t know a lot about this but I believe I had a little girl with this under my care once in a daycare. It wasn’t particularly obvious except she was a little slower walking compared the other kids.
I would wait to worry until you know, and even then just learn and do the best you can. ❤

All it mentioned in the letter was about her being tall for her age. I think you are right and it’s best to wait until I know to what level if at all I need to worry! Thank you x

I agree with those who responded already. Due to my training and profession I am familiar with the disorder(s), but I feel strongly that as informative as the Internet can be, it can also get people unnecessarily or prematurely concerned.
